Kevin Joe Howard

Kevin Joe “Cooter” Howard, age 40, of Jackson, KY passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at the Hazard ARH.  He was born April 18, 1979, in Westland, MI.-He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents:  Joe and Nellie Raleigh; His paternal grandparents:  Clay and Jewell Howard.  One aunt: Sharon Turner and one uncle: Jerry “Bubbo” Howard-He is survived by his parents: Roger and Della Howard of Jackson, KY-Two brothers: Mike Mitchell of Hazard, KY and Roger Dale Howard of Jackson, KY.-Nephews: Mikey Mitchell, Roger Mitchell, Phillip Mitchell, Wendall Dale Howard, Special nephew: Kevin Clay “KC” Mitchell.-Aunts: Brenda (Bernie) Crouse and Janet Howard: Uncles: Joe Raleigh; Gary (Shirley) Howard. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Turner, Sam Faulkner and Jamie McIntosh officiating.-Burial in the Bowling and Howard Cemetery, Curt Road, Old Buck, KY.-Visitation will begin on Saturday, November 23 at 5:00 p.m. and additional services at 7:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
