Clay Griffith

Clay Griffith, age 86, of Wilmore, KY and formerly of Newport, KY passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019, at the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, KY.-He was born April 12, 1933 at Canoe, KY and was the son of the late Chester Arthur and Mary (Arrowood) Griffith.-He was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.-He is survived by two sons:  Randy (Terri) Griffith of Georgetown, KY.-Clay Allen (Jeanne) Griffith of Taylor Mill, KY.-Four grandchildren: Brandon Griffith, Suzanne Goodpaster, Nathaniel Griffith, Bradley Griffith.-Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Pat Turner officiating.-Burial in the Griffith Cemetery, Sebastians Branch, KY.-Visitation will begin on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-Military Rites to be observed.
