Kelly Begley

Kelly Begley, age 86, of Altro, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at the Pine Meadows Nursing Home in Lexington, KY-He was born April 30, 1933, at Gays Creek, KY and was the son of the late Rev. Lewis Luke and Laurie (Akemon) Begley.- He was a member of the Altro Church of God. He was also preceded in death by his wife: Effie Raleigh Begley.-Four sisters: Opal, Ola, Goldie and Edna Mae: Four brothers:  A.D. ; Luther, Elisha and Levi.-One step-son: Robert Raleigh.-He is survived by one daughter: Traci (Philip) Scott of Nicholasville, KY-Three sons:  Lewis Begley of Lewisburg, TN; Ricky (Peggy) Begley of Columbia, TN; Rev. Calvin (Carol) Bowling of Gays Creek, KY; Six stepchildren: Betty Jo Raleigh, Rosa Noble, Luther Raleigh, Martha Herald, James Raleigh and Cale Raleigh, JR.- He is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.- Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Calvin Bowling officiating.-Burial in the Amis and Begley Cemetery at Buckhorn, KY.-Visitation will begin on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. until time of service.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.: Pallbearers: Family and Friends
