Darlene (Lambert) Burns, age 77, of Buckhorn, KY passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at the Owsley County Nursing Home in Booneville, KY.-She was born September 20, 1941 in Pike County, KY and was the daughter of the late Willie and Mary (Casey) Lambert.-She was preceded in death by her husband: Chester Burns, Jr. and one son: Randy Lambert.-She is survived by three daughters: Rachel (Manuel) Couch of OH; Dorothy Burns of OH; Diana (Hebert Dean) Combs of Buckhorn, KY.-Four sons: Ricky Lambert, Chester Burns III and John Burns of Buckhorn, KY; Kevin (Sharon) Lambert of Winchester, KY.; One brother: Harry Lambert of Columbus, GA.; Six grandchildren; Kevin Scott Lambert, Jerrica Marie Whitaker, James Michael McQueen, Natasha Short, Whitney Burns, Kayla Burns.; She is also survived by a host of great- grandchildren and other relatives.-Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Simmie Ray Bowling officiating.-Burial in the Lucy Angel Cemetery, Squabble Creek Road, Buckhorn, KY.-Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
