Estill Fugate, age 72, of Vancleve, KY passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.- He was born December 5, 1946 at Clayhole, KY and was the son of the late Elhannon and Pauline (Stacy) Fugate.–He was preceded in death by two brothers:  James Shelton Fugate and Billy Wayne Fugate.-He is survived by his wife: Mary Elizabeth Fugate of Vancleve, KY-One daughter: Angela Mechelle (Edgar) Raleigh of Jackson, KY-Two step sons: Paul (Rachel) Smith JR of Lexington, KY and Shawn (Renee) Smith of Jackson, KY.  Seven sisters:  Phurbia Bailey of Vine Grove, KY;-Euna (James) Hines of Danville, KY-Wanda Weaver of Elizabethtown,KY-Wilma (Ralph) Polly of Greenwood, IN; Ruth (Ken) Wheeler of Marysville, OH; Sue (Woodie) Gabbard of Wilmore, KY-Jenetta (Paul) Shearer of Dayton, OH.-Two brothers: Wilgus (June) Fugate of Chicago, IL; Orville (Jackie) Fugate of Clayhole, KY-Two sisters in law: Barbara Fugate of Danville, KY-Helen Fugate of Lexington, KY-Six grandchildren: Tasha Nicole Roberts, Triton Earl Smith, Teegan Sly Smith, Shawnibeth Smith, Jhet Coleman Edgar Raleigh, Jhentri Grasyn-Mechelle Raleigh.-Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Emmitt Campbell officiating.-Burial in the Haddix Cemetery, INC. at Haddix, KY-Visitation will begin on Friday at 6:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-Pallbearers: Paul Smith, JR; Shawn Dale Smith, Triton Smith, Teegan Smith, Edgar Raleigh, Jhet Raleigh, Robert Fugate: Honorary Pallbearers: Paul Fugate, Stanley Barnett; All brothers in law.
