Gregory Lester Combs, age 31, of Raleigh, North Carolina and formerly of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 in Raleigh.-He was born June 28, 1987 in Richmond, KY.-He was preceded in death by his step father: Darrell Smith. -Maternal grandfather: Lester Bowling.-Materal step grandfather: Earl McIntosh.-He is survived by his mother: Melody (Russ Clemons) Smith of Jackson, KY-His father: James Gregory Combs of Lexington, KY-Maternal grandmother: Julie McIntosh of Jackson, KY-Paternal grandmother: Georgetta (Ed) Taulbee of Morehead, KY-Paternal grandfather: Jim (Betty) Combs of Beattyville, KY-Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Lansaw and James Southwood officiating.-Burial in the Howard Cemetery, Curt Road, Jackson, KY-Visitation will begin on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. with additional services at 7:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-Pallbearers: Russ Clemons, Gary Smith, Chris Howard, Wendell Dale Howard, Kevin Howard, Mike Mitchell, James Clemons.
