Dixie Hounshell

Dixie Hounshell, age 78, of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at her residence.-She was born April 26, 1940  at Lambric, KY and was the daughter of the late Reese Hounshell and Burlah Bradley Hounshell Brooks.-She was also preceded in death by one son: Bennett Reese (Benny) Turner.-One grand daughter: Burlah Medina (Deena) Turner.-One great grandson: Hunter Elisha Reynolds.-She is survived by one daughter: Marlene Turner of Jackson, KY-One son: Roger Alan (Marilyn) Turner of Jackson, KY-Daughter-in-law: Connie Turner.–Four granddaughters: Angela Nicole Gross (David Gross)-Jennifer Renae Vasquez (Ricky)-Ashley Nicole Reynolds (Julio)-Jennifer Renae Reynolds.-Three grandsons: Nicholas Alan Turner, Matthew Alan Turner and James Darren Reynolds-Eight great grandsons:  (Special great grandson: Jordan Alexander Turner), Logan Reynolds, Gaberial Diaz, Aiden Coria, Mario Bennett Vasquez, Logan Drayke Gross, James Darren Reynolds, III-Shooter Blaine Reynolds.-Five Great granddaughters: Alexandria Raye Aly Haddix, Adrianna Haddix, Alivia Raye “Livi” Haddix, Kera Diaz, Kaylee Reynolds. Great great grandson: Oliver Marcellus Cockerham.-Two special cousins: Maxine Back and Marcella (Eddie) Spicer.-Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with John Abner officiating.-Burial in the Lazarus Back Cemetery at Noctor, KY-Visitation will begin on Thursday at 5:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
