John Vernon Belcher

John Vernon Belcher, age 78, of Booneville, KY passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the UK Hospital in Lexington, KY-He was born May 27, 1940 at Crockettsville, KY and was the son of the late Luther and Elvira (Turner) Belcher.-He was preceded in death by two brothers: Buddy Belcher and Letch Belcher.-He is survived by wife: Naomi Belcher of Booneville, KY-Two daughters: Donna (Jeffery) Herald of Winchester, KY-Freida Belcher of Lexington, KY-One brother: Samuel Belcher of Booneville, KY-One grandson: Devan Herald-One special nephew: Jason Belcher.-He is also survived by a host of family and friends.-Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Jesse Turner and David Turner officiating.-Burial in the Buddy Spicer Cemetery at Sebastians Branch, KY-Visitation will begin on Saturday at 9:00a.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-Pallbearers: Jason Belcher, Devan Herald, Todd Turner, Sammie Turner, Arthur Jr. Johnson, David Turner.
