Reverend Victor Turner

Reverend Victor Turner, age 74, of Jackson, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the UK Hospital in Lexington, KY.–He was born June 18, 1943 at Altro, KY and was the son of the late Jesse and Armine Turner.–He was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.–Victor was a retired janitor at the LBJ Elementary School in Jackson.–He is survived by his wife: Amanda (Simpkins) Turner of Jackson, KY–Two daughters: Tammy (David) Pennington of Jackson, KY.–Diana (Terry) Strong of Whick, KY–Three sons:  Billy Turner of Jackson, KY–Ricky Turner (Mary Neace) of Jackson, KY; Victor Lynn (Nichole) Turner of Jackson, KY–One sister: Jennybell (Junior) Smith of Altro, KY;-One brother: Roy Lee (Anna) Turner of Alabama.–Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.–Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with David Gross officiating.–Burial in the Bailey Cemetery, Roark Ridge, Jackson, KY–Visitation will begin on Friday at 6:00 p.m.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
