Floyd Dewayne Childers, age 36, of Jackson, KY passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the UK Hospital in Lexington, KY.–He was born March 3, 1981 at Irvine, KY.–He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents:  Jimmy and Laura  Caudill–Paternal grandparents:  Curt and Edna Mae Childers.–Step grandparents: Charles and Mae Johnson.–He is survived by his mother: Jalie (Tommy) Johnson of Jackson, KY–His father: Jerry (Nettie Palmer) Childers of Jackson, KY–Special Friend:  Shera Shelton of Beattyville, KY–Two children:  Destiny Leighann Childers and Curtis Dewayne Childers of Jackson, KY–Uncle: Jimmy Edward Childers (Pamela Sue Palmer) of Jackson, KY–Two sisters:  Robin Noel (Richard) Turner of Beattyville, KY-Stephanie Joy Childers (Matthew Caudell) of Beattyville, KY.–Five brothers:  Jerry Lee Childers (Tangi Cavins) of Beattyville, KY-Jimmy Curtis (Michelle) Childers of Jackson, KY–Jason David (Dianna) Childers of Beattyville, KY– Richard Eric (Kendra) Childres of Jackson, KY–Tommy (Sabrena) Johnson, JR of Pikeville, KY.–Cousins:  Kelsie Childers, Nicki  (Justin) Fletcher) -Niece: Brittany Johnson;–Nephew: Timmy Johnson.–A host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and relatives.–Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Spencer officiating.–Burial in the Childers Cemetery, Burcham Fork Road, Jackson, KY–Visitation will begin on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home with additional services at 7:00 p.m.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.–Pallbearers:  Sam Gross,  Jerry Lee Childers, Jimmy Curtis Childers,, Richard Childers, Jason David Childers, Jimmy Edward  Childers, Tommy Johnson, Richard Turner; Matthew Caudell –Friends of the Family.
