Frances Maxine (Russell) Frazier, age 75, of Jackson, Ky entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, KY. – Maxine was born on April 27, 1942 at Clayhole, KY and was the daughter of the late Green and Stella (Stidham) Russell.– She was a retired teacher having taught her entire career at Willard Elementary School in Perry Co., KY. – Maxine was preceded in death by her loving husband: Norman Frazier.–Six sisters: Ruby Haddix, Marie Webb, Helen Bowling, Gladys Landrum, Mollie Spencer and Hazel Hatton–Two brothers: Hobert Russell and James Russell. –Maxine is survived by three daughters: Kimberly Carpenter,- Teresa (Gary) Watkins – and Norma Taylor all of Jackson, KY.–Two sisters, Nancy Nickell of Jackson, KY and Beatrice Mitchell of Pontiac, Michigan;- One brother, Kenneth Russell of Franklin, Ohio; -Eight grandchildren: Timothy Carpenter, Nichole Carpenter, Michael (Morgan) Watkins, Jamie Watkins, Rebecca White, Eric Lane II, Haleigh Slaughter and Brandyn Slaughter,–Eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. -Funeral service will be held Friday, Sept. 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Church of God, Hwy. 30 West, Jackson, KY with Pastor Bobby Hollon officiating.– Burial will follow in the Haddix Cemetery, Inc., Haddix, KY.–Pallbearers: Gary Watkins, Michael Watkins, Jamie Watkins, Timothy Carpenter, Eric Lane II and Brandyn Slaughter. –Honorary Pallbearers: The church family of the First Church of God of Jackson, KY.–Visitation will begin Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 5:00 PM at the First Church of God, Hwy. 30 West, Jackson.KY.–Deaton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. |
