Mary Ann (Prater) Gau, age 36 of Lexington KY and formerly of Breathitt County, KY passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the UK Hospital in Lexington, KY.– She was born June 10, 1980 in Hazard, KY and was the daughter of the late Huey B. Prater.– She was preceded in death by her husband: David Gau. -One son: Charles David Gau. –She is survived by her mother: Deborah (Fugate) Banfield of Hazard, KY.–One son: Johnathon Gau of Lexington, KY.– Two sisters: Ann Margaret (Grover) Napier of Rowdy, KY. – Melissa Prater of Versailles, KY. –Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Virgil McIntosh officiating.–Burial in the Little Cemetery, Jetts Creek, KY.–Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
