Randy Cress, age 52, of R. Cress Road, Jackson, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 due to accidental drowning. –He was preceded in death by one brother: Michael Raymond Cress.–He is survived by his parents: Raymond and Mandy (Gross) Cress of Beattyville, KY.–One daughter: Amanda Elizabeth Cress of Beattyville, KY.–Two sisters: Darlene Cress of Beattyville, KY – Teresa (Bruce) Chaney of Beattyville, KY.–One brother: Wallace (Crystal) Cress of Jefferson City, TN.–Four nieces: Crystal Thatcher, Dawn Watkins, Kaylee Cress, Lexus Cress.–Five nephews: Raymond Morris, Brian Morris, Cody Tubbs, Devin Cress, Traton Michael Cress. –Nine great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends:–Three special friends: Mildred Palmer, Joe Gross and John Smith.–Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Walter Turner officiating. — Burial in the Cress Family Cemetery, R. Cress Road, Jackson, KY.–Visitation will begin on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. –Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
