James Fairley Napier

James Fairley Napier, age 77, of Booneville, KY and formerly of Jackson passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.  He was born June 25, 1948, at Noble, (Little Buckhorn), KY and was the son of the late Penn Oliver and Pearlie Mullins Napier.  He was also preceded in death by grandson: Max Chance Napier.  He is survived by two sons:  Tracy (Tina) Napier of Berea, KY and Fairley Dewayne Napier of Hazard, KY.  Three brothers:  Justin Napier, Ralph Napier and Charlie (Rita) Napier, all of Clayhole, KY.  Four grandchildren:  Hatch Napier, Chelsey Napier, Trevor Past and Harmony Bailey.  He is also survived by a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.  There will be no formal services.  Remains will be interred at the Ary Cemetery, Ball Creek, of Ary, KY.   Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
