Rudolph Fraley

Having retired from Falcon Coal and Arch Mineral Coal Companies, Rudolph earned a reputation as one of   the best loader men on the hill. However, it was his role as a door greeter at Wal-Mart that brought him immense joy. Rudolph’s warm and welcoming nature endeared him to both his co-workers and the customers who frequented the local store. Rudolph spent his life caring and providing for his loved ones. Also, Rudolph spent his adult life serving God at The Jackson Church of God and The Full Gospel Church in Jackson.

Rudolph leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories. He is lovingly survived by his daughter Darlene (Butch) Gline of Dry Ridge, Special Granddaughter Lannie (Ken) Combs of Rogers, Great Granddaughters Alyssa Combs and Isabelle Combs of Rogers, He is also survived by two sisters, Darnell (Antonio) Ramirez of London and Jane Beam of Dupont, IN, two sons Phillip Patton and John Barnett of Jackson, four Granddaughters Samantha Bush, Lisa (Thomas) Napier, Alena Patton of Jackson and Yvonne (Eric) Gordon, Union, KY, four Grandsons Burley (Robin) Patton, Scott (Marie) Coomer and John Barnett, Jr. of Jackson, Harold Jr (Tanya) Gline, Williamstown, KY, Two Daughters-in- law Bertha Patton of Jackson, and Judy Patton of Rogers. One Special Nephew Russ (Annie) Stevens of Jackson. He is also survived by host of Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.

Rudolph was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Lillian Russell Fraley of Jackson, his first wife Allie B Thompson Fraley, second wife Delphia Fraley, one daughter Malana Fraley, one brother Ricardo Fraley, one sister Tonia Fraley, two sons Sidney Patton and Steve Patton.

During his time on this earth, Rudolph touched the lives of many with his kind heart and gentle spirit. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Special thank you to Harry (Pam) Kemper, Randy Pruitt, Sonya (known by Rudolph as Mrs Combs) and Darren Combs and all of the staff and his friends at Fountain Circle Care and Rehabilitation. May he rest in peace.

Funeral service was held on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Harry Kemper officiating. Burial followed in the Jackson Cemetery.
