Charles Edward Johnson, age 78, of Booneville, KY passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY. – He was born April 13, 1938 at Jetts Creek, KY and was the son of the late Chester and Lillie (Barker) Johnson. – He was preceded in death by one son: Clifton Jamie Johnson. -Two sisters: Leona Johnson and Jalie Johnson. -Three brothers: Arch Johnson, Hubert Johnson and Garland Johnson. – He is survived by one daughter: Carol Jones of Athol, KY. – Two sons: Tommy (Jalie) Johnson of Jackson, KY and Tim (Sheryl) Johnson of Lost Creek, KY. -Two brothers: Kash Johnson of Booneville, KY and Lawrence Johnson of Lima, OH. -Three grandchildren: Tommy Johnson, JR, -Bonnie Mae Spencer and Lillian Noble. A host of other grandchildren and great grandchildren.- Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Ray Hensley officiating,.-Burial in the Roberts Cemetery, Bradley Lane, Athol, KY.– Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. – Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
