Daryl Stamper

Daryl Stamper, age 62, of Covington, KY, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at his home in Covington, KY.  He was born on July 11, 1963, in Ary, KY, and grew up at Sebastians Branch, KY.  He was the son of the late Filmore Stamper Jr. and Lena Turner Stamper.  Daryl was a free spirit who lived every day to the fullest.  As a child, he loved ponies, writing, and tinkering with mechanics.  He was a published author and won an award in autobody mechanics.  As an adult, he loved traveling the country on his motorcycle, racing, and making new friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Bruce Stamper.  He is survived by his wife, Karen Stamper of Covington, KY; his son, Kenneth Clutter (Cassie) of Wilder, KY; and two daughters: Scarlett Stamper of Cincinnati, OH, and Monica Keller (Michael) of Fayetteville, OH.  Six grandchildren: Evan Clutter, Makenna Clutter, Mason Clutter, Hardin Stamper, Timothy Harmon, and Amber Harmon, Two brothers: Phillip Stamper and Thomas Stamper; both of Sebastian Branch, KY.  Two sisters: Becky Tuner (Irvine) of Crockettsville, KY, and Linda Yates (Thomas) of Baumholder, Germany.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and many other friends and family.

Visitation services will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Deaton Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  Burial will follow in the Buddy Spicer Cemetery, HWY 315, Sebastians Branch, KY.  Deaton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
