Alvin Hudson, age 64, of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at his residence due to a long illness. – He was born January 1, 1953 at Ary, KY and was the son of the late Cordus and Bertha (Kazee) Hudson. – He was preceded in death by one son: Jamie Hudson. — Two brothers: Earl Wayne Hudson and Melvin Hudson.- He is survived by his wife: Elaine (Dunn) Hudson of Jackson, KY. -One daughter: Rebecca (Byron) Smith of Jackson, KY. –Two sons: Travis Hawks of OH and Gregory Hudson of Jackson, KY. –One sister: Verda (Leonard) Carpenter of FL. – Six brothers: – Archie Hudson (Yvonne Spicer) of Jackson, KY. – Vergil Hudson (Sue Sweeny) of Beavercreek, OH. -Seldon (Charlotte) Hudson of Middletown, OH, -Gerald (Martha) Hudson of Jackson, KY. – Lewis (Donna) Hudson of Louisville, KY. -Denzil (Debbie) Hudson of Hardshell, KY. – Five grandchildren: Trevor Smith, Jaci Smith, Jayden Hawks, Jalynn Hudson, Lavina Hudson.– He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. -Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Gordon Little and Emmitt Campbell officiating. – Burial in the Dunn and Hudson Family Cemetery, Quicksand Road, Jackson, KY. – Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. – Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
