Alpha Bess Hayes

Alpha Bess Hayes, age 74, of Campton, KY and formerly of Jackson passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the Wolfe County Nursing Home.  She was born January 8, 1951, in Breathitt County and was the daughter of the late Corbitt Cecil and Eva King Martin.  She was preceded in death also by her husband: Don Hayes.  She is survived by her son: Don Hayes, Jr and wife: Keri Ann of Cincinnati, OH.  Her daughters: Tina Rae Hayes and Betty Lou Hayes, both of Stanton, KY.  Six grandchildren:  Jamison Neace, Tyler Neace, Austin Neace, Kaitlyn Lee, Hunter Hayes, Amber Baker.  Eleven great grandchildren:  Alyssa, Emmanuel, Aiden, Quinn, Oakley, Leanna, Landon, Theodore, Jakoby, Ashton, Evelyn, and Kaya.  She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Estill Barnett officiating.  Burial in Jackson Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until time of service.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
