Terry Lynn Feltner

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Feltner, a devoted father, beloved son, proud grandfather, and loyal brother, whose life was defined by love for his family, the joy of close friendships, and a deep appreciation for the simple beauty of a beach.  Terry was the cherished son of Viola Feltner and was preceded in death by his father, Tolbert Feltner, and his brother-in-law Mark Shouse.  Their memory remained close to his heart throughout his life.  His legacy lives on through his children: Michael Feltner (Cindy), Andy Lewis, and Lance Feltner each of whom carry forward his spirit in a unique and meaningful ways.

He was a proud and loving grandfather to Alex, Kennedy, Chloe, James, Quinn, and Sterling.  Whether it was sharing stories, laughter, or making memories, Terry adored his grandchildren and the light they brought into his life. Terry’s bond with his siblings was a cornerstone of his world.  He is survived by Beverly Feltner-Cooper (Buddy), Donna Hawse, Garry Feltner, Dean Feltner (Brenda), Karen Back (David), and Robbin Shouse (Mark), a close-knit family who shared his laughter, loyalty, and love through every chapter of his life.  Those who knew Terry will remember his warm smile, his generous heart, and the way he made everyone feel like family.  Whether gathered around a dinner table or walking along the shore, Terry found joy in togetherness and left everyone better for knowing him.  As we say goodbye, we take comfort in the memories he gave us, memories of love, laughter, and the sound of waves in the distance.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial in the Caudill Cemetery at Quicksand, KY.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Tuesday until time of service.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
