Danny Haddix, age 68, of Jackson, KY passed away on Monday, January 09, 2017 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.- He was born March 24, 1948 in Haddix, KY and was the son of the late Blackburn and Geneva (Butler) Haddix. – He was preceded in death by one brother: Denver Haddix.- He was a US Army veteran and local carpenter for many years. – He is survived by his wife: Twilla (Rose) Haddix of Jackson, KY. – One daughter: Candace (Joey) Mayes of Jackson, KY. – One son: Daniel L. Haddix, of Georgetown, KY. –Two sisters: Mary L. Haddix of Jackson, KY and Linda (Fred) Combs of Jackson, KY. – One brother: Blackburn (Thelma) Haddix, JR of Jackson, KY. – One grandson: Nathan Mayes. –Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with John Bunn officiating. -Burial in the Haddix Cemetery INC. Haddix, KY. -Visitation for the public will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. – Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
