Justina Gail Taulbee

Justina Gail Smith Taulbee, age 44, of Vancleve, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY due to a short illness.  She was born January 9, 1981, and was the daughter of the late Douglas “Bo” and Dana King Smith.  She is survived by her husband: Sherman Taulbee of Vancleve, KY.  Three sons:  Timothy Taulbee and Jordan Taulbee of Vancleve, KY and Anthony Taulbee, of Jackson, KY.  One daughter: Raven Taulbee of TX.  One brother: James Smith of Jackson, KY and two sisters: Christina Smith Taulbee (Bobby) of Vancleve, KY and Linda Salyers of Jackson, KY.  Two granddaughters:  Raelynn Turner and Piper Turner.  She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on  Tuesday, February 25,  2025 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Lee Johnson officiating. Burial in the Taulbee and Armstrong Cemetery at Frozen Creek of Vancleve, KY.  Visitation will begin at 11: 00 am on Tuesday until time of service.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
