Samuel Jay Fugate

Samuel Jay Fugate, age 59, of Rousseau, KY passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY.  He was born January 1, 1966, in Magoffin County, KY and was the son of the late Roscoe and Reva Montgomery Fugate.  He was also preceded in death by two brothers:  Roscoe Junior Fugate and Carl Fugate.  He is survived by his wife, Judy Back Fugate of Rousseau, KY.  One daughter: Cassandra Fugate of CA. Two brothers:  William (Dorothy) Fugate and James Beecher Fugate, both of Rousseau, KY.  One sister: Rachel Fugate of Rousseau, KY.  He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.  A visitation and Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
