Paul Joseph "Pauly" Mitchell

Paul Joseph “Pauly” Mitchell, age 54, of Jackson, KY passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.  He was born August 21, 1970, in New London, Connecticut and was preceded in death by his father: Louis Mitchell and his brother: Lewis Mitchell, Jr.  His in laws:  Frank and Donna Allen and brothers and sisters in laws:  Eugene and Angela Hurt and John and Shaylynn Allen.  His aunt:  Maxine Amaral.  He is survived by his wife of 29 years: Cheryl Allen Mitchell of Jackson, KY.  His mother: Maria Amaral Mitchell of Mystic, CT.  One daughter: Katelynn Mitchell (Joseph Beasley) of Groton, CT.  Stepdaughter:  Miranda (Tylere) Marquis of Griswold, CT.  One son: Christian Mitchell of Jackson, KY and stepson: Michael Allen of Jackson, KY.  Four grandchildren:  Adilaiya Beasley, Aubree Marquis, Ethan Marquis, Hunter Marquis. Special nieces:  Haley Wagers and Brooklynn Allen and their children.  He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many other family and friends.  A celebration of Life and Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 2:0-0 pm at the Palmer Memorial Church, Hwy 30 East, Jackson, KY with David Fletcher officiating.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm at the Palmer Memorial Church until time of service.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, family requests donations, be made to and Children’s Cancer Hospital of choice.
