Mary Doice Dunn

Mary Doice Dunn, age 81, of Jackson, KY passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY.  She was born May 31, 1943, in Jackson, KY and was the daughter of the late Sam Henry and Della Robinson Potter.  She was preceded in death by her husband: Norman Dunn.  Five brothers:  Willard Ray Potter, Hubert Potter, James Potter, Dailey Potter, Sammie Potter.  Four sisters:  Odessa Ritchie, Clarie Strong, Clotella Fletcher, Della Ruth Lovins.  She is survived by three sons:  Norman Leighton (Jacquelyn) Dunn of Campton, KY; William Ricky Lane Dunn of Jackson, KY; Jonathan Scott Dunn of Pikeville, KY.  Two grandchildren:  Jacquelyn Paige Dunn and Ashton Brett Dunn of Jackson, KY.  One great grandchild:  Leighton Erin Claire Rose.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with John Bunn officiating.  Burial in the Smith-Back Cemetery, Quicksand, KY.  Visitation will begin on Saturday at 11:00 am until time of service.
