Ray Sizemore

Ray Sizemore, age 68, of Walk Log Road, Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at his residence.  He was born November 8, 1956 in Breathitt County, KY and was the son of the late Bob and Martha Allen Sizemore.  He was a retired mechanic.  He was preceded also in death by son:  Timothy Sizemore. His sister: Rosie Highley.  He is survived by his wife: Cathy McIntosh Sizemore of Jackson, KY.  Four sons: Chris (Cristy) Sizemore of Altro, KY; Michael Sizemore and Rodney Childers, Jr, both of Jackson, KY; Ray Jr (Mariea) Sizemore of Verona, KY.  Seven daughters:  Martha (Ken) Watts,   Mary (Rodney) Childers, Sudy (Albert) Watkins, Kilee Childers, and Kaylee Childers, all of Jackson, KY.  Abigail (Jody) Noble of Clayhole, KY; Dacoda (Matt) Olinger, Jr of Beattyville, KY. On brother:  Robert (Debbie) Sizemore of FL.  Four sisters:  Darlene (David) Begley of London, KY; Sudy (Charlie) Collins of Manchester, KY, Wanda May of Danville, KY and Effie Sizemore of North Carolina.  A very special great granddaughter: Ivery Nipper.  Best Friends:  Albert Watkins and Charlie Collins.  He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, any other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial in the Sizemore Family Cemetery, Walk Log Road, Jackson, KY.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
