Nannie Helen Morgan

Nannie Helen Morgan, age 85, of Melbourne, KY passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the residence of her daughter in Dayton, KY.  She was born December 8, 1938, at Canoe, KY.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Kelly and Angeline Turner Spicer.  Her two husbands: Robert Stamper and Cecil Morgan.  Her son: Robert Eric Stamper and stepdaughter: Anita Frantz.  One brother: Kelly Spicer, Jr and one sister: Verda Boggs.  Helen was a member of the Apostolic Church of Lord Jesus Christ of Newport, KY.  Helen enjoyed life.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and singing gospel music.  She loved her family and her animals.

She is survived by her daughter:  Sheila Compton of Dayton, KY.  Stepdaughters:  Regina (Rick) Templeton and Karen (Bobby) DiNuoscio, of Hamilton,OH and Angie (Rob) Moore, of Lebanon, OH. Her stepson:  Johnny Morgan of Blanchester, OH.  Six sisters:  Coreena Bowling of Canoe, KY, Haney Stamper of Crittenden, KY, Verneda Turner and Theadus Arrowood of Newport, KY, Sarah Faye Edison of Norwood, OH and Angeline (Donnie) Turner of Cold Spring, KY.  One brother:  Samuel Spicer of Newport, KY.  She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Sarah Faye Edison and Haney Stamper officiating.  Burial in the Stamper-Turner Cemetery at Canoe, KY.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Saturday until time of service.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
