Georgia Spicer Bernard

Georgia Spicer Bernard, age 67, of Franklin, OH and formerly of Breathitt County passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at her residence in Franklin, OH.  She was born July 22, 1957, at Hazard, KY and was the daughter of the late Jesse and Ethel Deaton Spicer.  She was preceded in death by four sisters:  Sally Mae Turner, Audrey (Sissy) Spicer, Mary Francis Spicer and Shirley Deaton.  She is survived by her husband:  Willard Bernard, Jr of Franklin, OH.  Two daughters: Jamie Napier and Jennifer (Elijah) Gebhart, both of Franklin, OH.  Three brothers:  Robert Lee (Mary Lou) Spicer, Jesse Jr. (Saley) Spicer, and Lindburg Spicer, all of Altro, KY.  Three sisters: Lula (Virgil) Stamper of Franklin, OH; Betty Spicer of Altro, Ky and Theresa Neace of Jackson, KY.  Four grandchildren:  Autumn, Jade, Lynnsey, Shawn.  One great granddaughter: Bella.  Special Friend: Diane Daugherty.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Riley and Chris Turner officiating.  Burial in the Turner-Spicer Cemetery, Bowlings Creek Road, Altro, KY.  Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 11:00 am until time of service.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
