Sherman Clemons, Jr

Sherman Clemons, Jr, age 48, of Jackson, KY passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY.  He was born October 18, 1976, at Hazard, KY and was the son of the late Sherman Clemons.  He is survived by his mother: Irene Childers Clemons of Jackson, KY.  Two sons:  Sherman David Clemons and James Alexander Clemons, both of Jackson, KY.  Three daughters:  Amber Clemons and Kaytlyn Clemons of Jackson, KY.  Sydney Sky Clemons of Louisville, KY.  One brother:  Corbett (Dana) Clemons of Jackson, KY.  Two sisters: Pauline (Derek) Johnson of Canoe, KY and Cheryl (Mark) Robertson of Jackson, KY.  Two grandchildren:  Bryson Clemons and Oliver Pierce.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with David Fletcher and Justin Smith officiating.  Burial in the Howard Cemetery, Hwy 1098, Wilstacy, KY.  Visitation will begin on Saturday from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
