Steve Gross, Jr

Steve Gross, Jr age 62 of Ewing, KY and formerly of Jackson passed away at his residence on Thursday, October 24, 2024.  He was born April 9, 1962, in Campton, KY and was the son of the late Steve and Lauretta Sword Gross.   Preceded also in death by a brother: Ashford Gross and a niece, Leah Gross.  He is survived by wife: Janie Gross of Ewing, KY.  Three sons:  Jasper (Donnamae) Gross and Steve Jr. Gross, II, both of Ewing, KY.  Charles (Kathlyn) Gross of Louisville, KY.  One brother: Robert Gross of Jackson, KY.  Two sisters:  Ann (John) McIntosh and Lillie (Scott) Cogswell, both of Jackson, KY.  Four grandchildren:  Kenley Paige, Caleb James, Niklaus James and Hermione Marie.  He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Pentecostal Workers Church, Riley Branch Road,  Clayhole, KY with Robbie Gross officiating.  Visitation will begin at the church at 11:00 am Saturday until time of service. Burial in the Holbrook Cemetery, Wolf Creek Road, Rousseau, KY.   Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
