Maude Begley Portinga

Maude Begley Portinga, age 82, of Buckhorn, KY passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at her residence.  She was born September 13, 1941 in Buckhorn, KY and was the daughter of the late Bill Begley and Marjorie McIntosh Begley.  She was also preceded in death by her sister: Cynthina Bladen.  She is survived by her son: Richard Harris of Birmingham, AL.  Her daughter: Rebecca Ramey of Buckhorn,  KY.  Her brother:  Earl Begley of Bainbridge, GA.  Four grandchildren:  Douglas (Ashley) Pharr, Russell (Erin) Pharr, Kaitlyn (Alex) Dixon and Ashley (J.R.) Nuez.  Her special aunt: Polly White.  She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
