Ronnie Cress

Ronnie Cress, age 76, of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the Hazard ARH.  He was born February 7, 1948 in Hazard, KY and was the son of the late Henry and Beulah Brashear Cress.  He was a retired truck driver and a veteran of the US Army.  He was preceded also in death by his wife: Julia Faye Hollan Cress.  His brother: Donnie Cress.  He is survived by two daughters: Tammy Harvey and Katrina Riley, both of Shelbyville, KY.  His brother: Rocky (Linda) Cress of Viper, KY.  Grandchildren:  Joshua (Deanna) Harvey, Jordan Smith, Caitlyn Gardner, Jacob (Caitlin) Gardner.  Great grandchildren:  Kyle Lee Harvey, Micah Harvey, Carson Smith, Baylor Smith, Hailey Harvey.  He is also survived by a host of other family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Archie Combs officiating.  Burial in the Hollan Cemetery at Canoe, KY.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
