Rosella Moore

Rosella Moore, age 91, of Jackson, KY passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at her residence.  She was born January 24, 1933 at Stray Branch in Jackson, KY and was the daughter of the late Walter Fugate and Gladys Strong Fugate.  She was preceded in death also by her husband: George Lee Moore.  Her daughter: Mary Jane Moore Saenz.   Her brothers:  Vincent Fugate, Walter Fugate, Jr., Chester Barnett.  Her sisters:  Arbutus Moore, Ruby Moore, Jeanette Johnson.  She is survived by two sons:  Richard Moore of Jackson, KY and Ova Moore of FL.  Two daughters:  Rosalee Moore, and Judy Moore, both of Jackson, KY.  Four brothers: Poe Couch of Jackson, KY.  Larry Couch and Graden Couch of IN.  Harvey Barnett of Mt. Sterling, KY.  She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with James Southwood officiating.  Burial in the Riley Cemetery, Stray Branch, Jackson, KY.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
