Elmer Bryant

Elmer Bryant, age 74, of Athol, KY passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the Landmark of Breathitt Nursing Facility in Jackson, KY.  He was born June 4, 1949 at Athol, KY and was the son of the late Noah and Grace Hensley Bryant.  He was also preceded in death by his wife: Mary Thorpe Bryant.  His daughter: Virginia Bryant.  His son: Delmer Bryant.   His brothers:  Ollie Bryant, R.L. Bryant, York Bryant, Ernest Bryant, Bob Bryant, Henry Bryant, Jimmy “Bo” Bryant.  His sisters:  Carrie Bryant and Dora Caudill.  He is survived by two daughters:  Phyllis Bryant and Barbara Bryant of Athol, KY. One sister:  Virginia Atkins of IN.  Grandson: Brandon Turner.  He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Walter Turner officiating.  Burial in the Elmer Bryant Cemetery, Athol, KY.  Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00-9:00 pm with additional services at 7:00 pm.  Deaton  Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
