V T Shouse, age 79, of Jackson, KY passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 at the Nim Henson Nursing Home in Jackson, KY. He was born January 30, 1937 in Jackson, KY and was the son of the late George and Millie (Stamper) Shouse. He was preceded in death by one sister: Edna Gross and three brothers: Edgar Shouse, Everett Shouse and G.B. Shouse. He is survived by his wife: Cora (Adams) Shouse of Jackson, KY; Two daughters: Cindy Gross of Jackson, KY and Vallerie Shouse of Jackson, KY. One special granddaughter: Gabryelle Spicer; One special grandson: Dallas Gross; One very special great grandson: Jaxon Stone Fletcher; One special nephew: Tony Collins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth Noble officiating. Burial in the Griffith Cemetery at Sebastians Branch, KY. Visitation will begin 5:00 p.m. Friday. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
