Nancy Turner

Nancy Herald Turner, age 79, of Short Fork Road, Houston, KY passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at her residence. She was born May 28, 1937 at Houston, KY and was the daughter of the late Alex and Bertha (Spicer) Herald. She was preceded in death by her husband: Willis Turner. One daughter: Patricia Kay Schuler and one son: Gary David Turner. One sister: Sarah Jones. She is survived by one daughter: Sherry Nadine Turner Alcorn (Ken Ragg) of Dayton KY. One son: Donald Willis (Emily) Turner of Newport, KY. Four sisters: Dora Turner, Rebecca Baker and Nettie (Willie) Turner of Houston, KY. Rosan Mullins of Jetts Creek, KY. Two brothers; Wesley (Rosie) Herald and Herbert (Judy) Herald of Houston, KY. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Turner officiating. Burial in the McIntosh Cemetery at Houston, KY. Visitation will begin on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
