Zola Faye (Gross) Collins, age 77, of Quillens Chapel Road, Campton, KY passed away on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016 at her residence. She was born January 21, 1939 at Haddix, KY and was the daughter of the late Sam and Katherine (Crittendon) Gross. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Edward Hensley (Father of Wanda and Lewis ); Alfred Turner (Father of Mary Elizabeth). One son: Gordon Herald. One grandson: Larry Southers. Five sisters: Ellabee Williams, Julie Butler, Wanda Fletcher, Nancy Butler and Dolly Jean Gross. Three brothers: Edward Gross, Granville Gross and Porter Ray Gross. She is survived by two daughters: Wanda “Wendy” Hensley (Greg Stacy) of Campton, KY; Mary Elizabeth Turner (Shane Lewis) of Stanton, KY. One son: Lewis Edward Hensley of Campton, KY. Sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great grand children. Special Family: Stephen and Felicia Southers; Hospice of the Bluegrass; Jana, Annette Smith, Sioux Napier, Hannah and everyone: St. Lukes Clinic (Campton, KY); Brittany, Rita, Sabrina; Dr. Santos; Baptist Health (Lexington, KY); Home Health (Brenda); Willie (Her therapist). Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Emmitt Campbell officiating. Burial in the Stacy/Hensley/Southers Family Cemetery, Quillens Chapel Road, Campton, KY. Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
