Woodrow Haddix, SR, age 78, of Beattyville, KY passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at his residence.-He was born July 7, 1941, in Cane Creek of Breathitt County, KY and was the son of the late Jesse and Dorothy  (Terry) Haddix.-He was also preceded in death by three brothers: Chester Haddix, Ova Haddix, Dennis Haddix.-He was a US Army Veteran, a retired business owner and a member of the Breathitt County Senior Citizens.-He is survived by his wife: Lorraine (Spicer) Haddix of Beattyville, KY.-Four sons: Paul Anthony Haddix of Beattyville, KY; Darren Lee (Diane) Haddix of Las Vegas, NV; Woodrow Haddix JR and Michael Steven Haddix of Michigan.-Three sisters: Thelma Johnson, Dottie (Harold) Combs and Lenora (Michael) Bush all of Jackson, KY.-Two brothers: Daniel Haddix and Donnie (Marie) Haddix of Jackson, KY.-Five grandchildren: Amanda, David, Natasha, Dillon, Sarah.-Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Emmitt Campbell officiating.-Burial in the Jackson Cemetery.-Visitation will begin on Friday at 5:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
