Wilma Cole, age 82, of Jackson, KY passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Lee County Nursing and Rehab Center in Beattyville, KY.  She was born November 25, 1941 at Crockettsville, KY and was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Mabel Turner.  She was also preceded in death by her husband: Burnis Cole.  One sister:  Sarah Turner Cole.  She is survived by her son:  Nathan (Becky) Cole of Jackson, KY.  One daughter: Rachel (Sheridan) Turner of Florence, KY.  One sister: Ruth Turner (James) Reynolds of Cold Springs, KY.  Five grandchildren:  Tanisha (Christopher) Bonham, Emma Cole, Arianna Cole,  Kaleb Cole, Harlee Cole.  Two great grandchildren: Nora Bonham and Evelynn Bonham.  She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Silas Hall and Paul Hall offiicating.  Burial in the Buck Herald Cemetery, Talbert, KY.  Visitation will be Monday, January 22, from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
