Willus “Bill” Sword, JR, age 61, of Jackson, KY passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY.-He was born August 8, 1957 at Rousseau, KY and was the son of the late Willus and Lillie Mae (Howard) Sword.-He was preceded in death by one grandson: Jeramiah Sword.-Two sisters: Lauretta Gross and Iona Faye Bach.-He is survived by his wife: Irene (Clemons) Sword of Jackson, KY.-Two sons: Charles Sword of Jackson, KY.-Billy Ray (Deana) Sword of Jackson, KY.-One sister: Joyce (Ron) Downs of Brewton, AL.-Five brothers: Danny (Sue) Sword and Roy (Alma) Sword of Noctor, KY; Troy Sword of Jackson, KY; Eddie (Marlane) Sword of Campton, KY; Ray (Bessie) Sword of Rousseau, KY.-Five grandchildren: Brianna Sword, Kaitlyn Sword, Alyssa Sword, Shawn Sword, Hunter Sword.-He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.-Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Calvin Ray Spicer officiating.-Burial in the Rock of Ages Cemetery, Beattyville, KY.-Visitation to begin on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. with additional services Sunday night at 7:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
