William Ray “Bill” Turner, age 85, of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the Nim Henson Nursing Home in Jackson, KY.–He was born March 28, 1933 at Canoe, KY and was the son of the late Greenberry and Bertha (Strong) Turner.–He was a member of the Providence Pentecostal Church in Jackson, KY.–He was preceded in death by his wife: Bonnie Turner.–One brother: Earl Turner.–He is survived by two sisters:  Wilma Jean (Floyd Lee) Haddix of Flint, MI-Delcie Mae (Charles) Wilson of Lafollette, TN–Two brothers: Virgil (Mildred) Turner of Independence, KY-Vaughn (Lillie Mae) Turner of Georgetown, KY.-One sister in law: Alice Turner of Jackson, KY.-He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.–Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Bellamy officiating.–Burial in the Reed Bowling Memorial Garden Cemetery at Saldee, KY–Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. with additional services at 7:00 p.m.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
