William Barlow Clemons, JR, age 86, of Jackson, KY passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY. He was born June 22, 1930 at Decoy, KY and was the son of the late William Barlow and Carrie (Johnson) Clemons, SR. He was preceded in death by his wife: Naomi (Arrowood) Clemons. One daughter: Sharon Clemons. Three sisters: Dorothy Clemons, Eula Jean Clemons, and Margaret Gross. Two brothers: Tommy Clemons and James Owen Clemons. He is survived by four daughters: Karen (Mike) Griffith of Jackson, KY. Lisa (Charles) Gross of Jackson, KY. Dana (Mike) Fugate of Jackson, KY; Nora Hayes of Jackson, KY. Two sons: David Clemons and Mike (Sheila) Clemons of Jackson, KY. One sister: Dora Holbrook of Jackson, KY. Three brothers: Willard Clemons of Jackson, KY. Otis (Karen) Clemons of Connersville, IN; E.B. (Adna) Clemons of Somerset, KY. Ten grandchildren: Jennifer (Lee) Kirkland; Lauren (Wallace) Bates; Holly (Warren) Combs; Kami Griffith; Billy Neace; Charles Glenn Gross; Jordan Fugate; Brayton Fugate (Chelsey); Gentry Hayes (Heather); Landry Hayes and Alaxandra Hayes. Six great grandchildren: Dylan Minix; Caleb Bates; Mason Kirkland; Lily Wilson; Braylee Fugate;Melody Belle Combs. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Noon at the Jackson Church of God, Quicksand Road, Jackson, KY with Harry Kemper officiating. Burial in Jackson Cemetery, Jackson, KY. Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home.
