Wayne Lee Warrix, age 78. of Jackson, KY passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Eastern KY Veterans Center in Hazard, KY.-He was born November 23, 1939 at Watts, KY and was the son of the late Carson and Edith Nell (Watts) Warrix.-He was also preceded in death by his wife: Vivian (Smith) Warrix.–He was a former educator, Falcon Coal Employee and a US Navy Veteran.-He is survived by two brothers: Lewis Henry (Grace) Warrix and Roy Carson Warrix of Jackson, KY-One sister: Helen Lois Lacy of Lexington, KY-Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth Noble officiating.-Burial in the Jackson Cemetery.-Visitation will begin on Monday from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-Pallbearers: Porter Henson, Mike Rose, Gary Fugate, Brad Eldridge, Chad Warrix, Logan Lovely, Chris Warrix.
