just got the news way too late, I would have given anything to get Stanley out here with me in London. I love all you all and I'll come by as soon as I can, all of the cress family showed me kindness when no one else would.

I just learned recently of the passing of Wallace (Stanley, as I knew him). I was his teacher in sixth and seventh grade. Stanley was one of my most unforgettable students. So much so that I have written about him in a book that I wrote. In elementary school, Stanley loved to tell stories about his coon hunting adventures. I suspect he never stopped telling stories because he was really good at it. It's funny, in class, he predicted that Reagan would bomb Libya before it happened. He was really into current events and his dogs. Happy hunting wherever you are, Stan. You would be happy to know I have owned five coonhounds and a bloodhound myself now. And one of my coonhounds was named Little Anne. You know what that means. I miss you buddy.

I'm sorry I couldn't be with the family today. I love you Aunt Mandy. I liked Stanley a lot. He was always a good friend and cousin to me. I hate he is gone. He will be missed.
