Vivian Carol Combs, 77, departed this life to be with the Lord on Monday, March 25, 2024. She was born on July 28, 1946, to Patrick and Virgina (Combs) Gross.
Vivian was a devoted member of Lewis Street Church of God. She was a prayer warrior, strong in her faith. She graduated from Breathitt High School and went on to attend nursing school at Miami University. Vivian was married to the love of her life, Ed Combs for over 60 years. She was a treasured employee at both Target and Kohls for 50 years. Vivian cherished spending time with her family and best friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Combs (Hasty), brother, Pat (Janet) Gross, grandsons, Jeffrey (Marissa) Hasty, Justin Hasty, and Taylor Neace, granddaughter, Emma Neace, great-grandson, Clayton Noble, nieces, Emily (Rachel) and Amanda Gross, nephew, Michael (Krista) Gross, best friends, Martha Angel and Carolyn Combs, and her special friend, Ray Redden. Vivian is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ed Combs, her parents, sons, Larry Combs and Bill Neace, and great-grandchild, Raylea Mae Combs.
Family and friends may visit on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at 2: 00 PM at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave., Middletown, OH, 45005. Burial will take place the following day (Tuesday, April 2, 2024) at the Haddix Cemetery, Haddix,  Kentucky  at 1:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
