Verlin A. Gross, age 58, of Jackson, KY passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at his residence.- He was born August 1, 1961, in Pontiac, MI and was the son of the late Stanley and Nannie (Watts) Gross.-He was also preceded in death by one son: Stanley Andrew Gross.-He was a retired truck driver and US Army Veteran.-He is survived by his wife: Melissa (Caudill) Gross of Jackson, KY.-One daughter: Amanda Marie Gross of Lost Creek, KY.-Two sons: Joseph Gross of Lost Creek, KY-Brian McIntosh of Jackson, KY.-Three sisters: Joannie (Billy) Gillum of Jackson, KY.-Charlotte Gross of Cincinnati, OH,-Sharon Phillips of Harrodsburg, KY.-Four brothers: Estill (Margie) Gross, SR of Herrington, KA; Kenneth (Susan) Gross of Whitesburg, TN; Sterling (Karina) Gross of Cincinnati, OH; Jeff (Jennifer) Gross of Brighton, MI.-Two grandchildren: Tristan Gross and  Zoey Reynolds.-Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Dewey Lee Jones officiating.-Burial in the Gross Cemetery, Walnut Fork Road, War Creek, KY.-Visitation will begin on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.-Military Rites to be observed.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
