Vergie (Stamper) Spicer, age 78,  Hwy 1110 Jackson, KY passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at her residence.-She was born October 22, 1940 at Saldee, KY and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lizzie (Strong) Stamper.-She was preceded in death by one son: Stanley Irving Strong.-Three sisters: Mary Johnson, Enis Irving and Betty Turner.-Four brothers: Ronnie Stamper, Reed Stamper, Ray Stamper, and Charles Stamper..-She is survived by one daughter: Elizabeth Gail (Billy Wayne) Noble of Haddix, KY-Two sons: Steve (Katie) Strong and Tiger (Sue) Strong of Haddix, KY-One brother: Fred (Jean) Stamper of Saldee, KY.-Six grandchildren: Brandi, Shawn, Whitney, Wayne, Crystal, Paula.-Nine great grandchildren.-Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Raymond Moore officiating.-Burial in the Will Strong Cemetery at Saldee, KY.-Visitation will begin on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. with additional singing at 7:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-Pallbearers: Tiger, Shawn, Wayne, Billy Wayne, Steve, Will, Eddie.
