Troy Gilbert, Jr, age 61, of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at the UK Hospital in Lexington, KY.  He was born February 14, 1963 in Newport, KY and was the son of the late Troy and Gladys Johnson Gilbert.  He is survived by his daughter: Hadassah Gilbert     (Justin Stith, Jr) of Jackson, KY.  Brothers: Darrell Gilbert of Richmond, KY and Richard (Karen) Gilbert of Covington, KY.                His sister: Addie Vickey Rowe of Jackson, KY.  Two grandchildren:  Connor Jones and Ellie Mae Jones.  He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.   A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the Solid Rock Assembly of God at Vancleve, KY with Tim King officiating.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
