Thomas Samuel Herald, age 41, of Talbert, KY passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY.-He was born Feb. 1, 1976 in Hazard, KY and was the son of the late Lewis Herald. –He is survived by his mother: Kathryn (Turner) Herald of Talbert, KY.–His three children: Jeannie, Samuel Isaac and John Lewis.–Three sisters: Margaret “Maggie” (Reese) Thompson of Talbert, KY.–Flossie Combs of Talbert, KY.–Mima Lynn Herald of Union, KY.–One half brother: Michael (Debbie) Turner of Talbert, KY.–Ex-wife: Penny Perkins.–Special friend-Rosa McIntosh.–One granddaughter–A host of nieces and nephews.–Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Turners Creek Mennonite Community Center with Phillip Swartzentruber officiating.–Burial in the Alice B. Turner Cemetery at Talbert, KY.–Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at the Community Center.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
