Thomas Glen Salyers, age 55, of Jackson, KY departed this earthly life for his heavenly home on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY–He was born May 8, 1962 at Campton, KY.–He was a retired employee of the Breathitt County Board of Education and a member of the Grace Bible Community Church.–He was preceded in death by his father: Tom Salyers.–Two brothers:  Larry Spicer and Tony Salyers.–He is survived by his wife: Barbara  Salyers of Jackson, KY–One son: Joshua (Pamela) Stamper of Jackson, KY–One grandson: Dakota Blake Stamper.–One granddaughter: Alexis Cheyenne Stamper.–His mother: Thelma Lou Salyers of Jackson, KY–Two brothers: Wayne Salyers and Billy Spicer of Jackson, KY–Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Archie Combs, Bryan Combs, JR and Krystal Combs officiating.–Burial in the Jackson Cemetery–Visitation will begin on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. –Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.–Pallbearers: Josh, Cody, Dale and Kyle Stamper–Wayne, Travis and Jarrod Watts.–Honorary Pallbearers: Harold Combs, Jeffery Miller, Doug Gross, Robert Stewart, Jeff Riggs, Mike Bush, David Ingram, Kim Salyers
